RCMC/FEL Junior Fellowship

In 2020, I have the great opportunity to be a Junior Research Fellow at the Research Center for Material Culture in Leiden. This gives me the possibility to research on papers used in Northwestern India (Pahari and Punjab) for the production of drawings and paintings during the 19th century. The RCMC provides me with a stimulating and prolific environment to dig into this particular topic and will help me to set the basis for a further in-depth research project on the materiality of Indian drawings from the Museum Volkenkunde. When the lockdown is over, I will be lecturing the preliminary results. In the meantime, stay healthy !
