I worked for the Department of Art Islamic of Musée du Louvre, the Museum of Islamic Art of Qatar and other international collections, I have gained a significant experience in the care and conservation of Islamicate manuscripts, folios, calligraphies, miniatures paintings, early fragments of Qur’an on parchment, scrolls… As for Islamicate manuscripts and miniature paintings, several factors are taken into account: the history of the object, the evidences of its past life, its cultural and historical significance and the current condition of conservation. All of these parameters enable me to diagnose and determine the most appropriate conservation decision.
