For the second time, Radha Pandey and I teamed up to present our theoretical and practical course on Indo-Islamic papers: History, techniques and Manufacture. We spent four intensive, fun-filled days interacting with Yale University Library staff, curators, librarians, conservators and students. While I taught all aspects of Islamic paper, from its origins, diffusion, materials, techniques to decline, Radha guided the participants through the various stages of papermaking and dyeing.

Huge thanks to Marie-France Lemay, head of the conservation lab at the Beinecke Library and Rebecca Heap for organising and hosting us so well. Many warm thanks to all of the entousiastic participants.
